You’ll have 24/7 access to your storage unit, every day of the year.

Access is granted via your assigned swipe tag or access code, so you can come and go whenever it suits you — no need to work around office hours.

Yes — both of our facilities are equipped with multiple layers of security to help keep your belongings safe:

  • 24/7 CCTV surveillance across common areas at both sites

  • Individual access tags and codes unique to each tenant

  • Regular security patrols and alarm monitoring for added protection

Please note: The facility’s common areas are continuously monitored by CCTV. The interior of your storage unit may be visible on camera when your unit door is open.

We take security seriously — so you can store with confidence and peace of mind.

Yes, you’ll need to supply your own padlock to secure your storage unit. You keep the key, and your items remain fully under your control and responsibility.

We recommend using a high-quality, all-steel padlock for better strength and durability than standard brass locks.

For extra protection, consider a shrouded padlock — the covered shackle design makes it harder to tamper with.

We strongly recommend not sharing your access code or swipe tag with anyone who isn’t an authorised or nominated person on your storage agreement.

This helps protect your belongings as well as the security and privacy of other customers using the facility.

If someone else does need access, please contact our team to discuss adding them as an authorised contact.

If you lose your access tag or need your access code changed, please contact us immediately on 02 4984 2000.

We’ll promptly deactivate the lost tag to maintain site security and arrange a replacement for you.
Please note: A small fee may apply for reissuing lost tags.

Both of our facilities are alarmed and monitored 24/7 to ensure the safety of all stored items.

If a security or emergency services alarm is triggered by you or someone accessing your unit on your behalf, a call-out fee may apply. This fee is passed on at cost from the responding security or emergency service.

To avoid unnecessary call-outs, please ensure only authorised users access your unit and always follow proper entry procedures.

If you enter the wrong code multiple times, you may be temporarily locked out of the system.

If you’ve forgotten your code or are unable to access your unit, please contact PRD Port Stephens during office hours on 02 4984 2000.

🔒 Important:
Do not follow another person through the gate. Your access code must be entered every time you enter the facility — if it’s not registered on entry, the system will not allow you to exit.

🔧 Emergency Access (Outside Office Hours):
If you require urgent access after hours, contact Argon Security on 02 4905 0603.
Please note: an out-of-hours call-out fee will apply.

Our preferred payment method is BPAY. You’ll receive a unique BPAY reference number when your account is set up.

If you’d prefer to pay in person, you’re welcome to visit the PRD Port Stephens office to make an EFTPOS payment.
